Tristan & Ann are the owners of Gratitude Brewing & have always worked so hard to bring the community together to celebrate the good things in life like music, art & of course beer! Here is a little to know about the awesome couple that makes it all happen.
Tristan is the founding owner of Gratitude Brewing. He attended South Eugene High School and U of O. He and his wife Ann live in South Eugene with their dog Porter. A contractor and homebuilder in a past life, Tristan still enjoys building projects as well as travel, hiking & backpacking, photography and all things beer. When he is not off roaming the world you’ll often see him at the brewery. Sometimes behind the bar but usually seated at it! Come say hi sometime.

If it wasn’t for Ann Cooley, Gratitude Brewing simply wouldn’t exist. She is a co-owner and while you won’t see her at the brewery as much as Tristan, (she has her own full time job!) she is the #1 supporter and a tireless cheerleader for all things Gratitude. Ann is an Emergency Medicine Doctor. When not busy saving lives she enjoys training her horse, snuggling her dog, Porter, traveling the world, and has a passion for sewing.

Everyone give a cheers to Jordan, our Lead Brewer! Jordan was Gratitude’s first official employee back in 2019. Having grown up in Eugene he attended South Eugene High School with Tristan (our owner) and then the University of Oregon. He lived in Portland for a while after that and earned a degree in Fisheries Technology at Mt Hood Community College.
Jordan and his wife Jill live in the River Road area and have two kids, Owen and Ruby and their dogs Benny & Ingrid. In his spare time Jordan loves playing guitar and continues his lifelong interest in model railroading including maintaining a live steam railway in his backyard. Working as a brewer allows him to indulge in his love of science, mechanics and, of course, BEER! He and his family can frequently be found enjoying the fruits of his labor here at the pub so stop by and say hello when you get the chance!

Chris is one of our amazing brewers here & just an all around cool dude. He has covered a lot of ground in the brewing industry, studying brewing technology at the Siebel Institute and is a certified level 2 Cicerone. He has brewed in Oklahoma, South Carolina and Nevada but liked Eugene the most, so he stayed. He has been living here for years with his partner Mandy and their cats Rasputin & Churro. Chris enjoys music, reading, keeping up with current events and occasionally jumping on his roller blades. If you are lucky you may catch him bartending on the rare occasion or enjoying the delicious beer he & Jordan brew for us all! Cheers to Chris!

Kat not only works behind the bar, but also lends her talents as a photographer for Gratitude, taking most of the photos you see on our social media. She loves to travel and is a backpacking addict, snapping her amazing photos wherever she goes. She runs her own photography business on the side (Karma Vigora Photography). Kat is a loving mother, a cancer survivor, and an OG employee here at the brewery. Before she became a bartender she was a Chef for many years. You can find her here at weekday lunches & sometimes at our live music events!
